Deployment Model
There are two deployment models for Xyea: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and standalone installation. In either case, users access Xyea via a web browser so there is no client software to install on your users’ PCs and laptops.
With the SaaS model, the only technical infrastructure you need is an Internet connection because the software is hosted on high-capacity dual quad-core dedicated servers in our certified secure data center. Connectivity, capacity, security and availability are covered by service level agreements that guarantee optimal performance and response times even as data and user volumes increase.
The standalone solution is for customers who would prefer to install the software on their own IT infrastructure. Often, the underlying Microsoft infrastructure will already be present in the customer environment. When this happens, it is usually possible to install the Xyea solution to take advantage of these components and save on Microsoft licensing costs. If you are considering an on-site installation, Xyea engineers will visit your site, review your infrastructure, and advise on the most suitable way to install the Xyea solution. |
